The President had recently learned that he had a son from a previous love. The son was living in Afghanistan and his life, and that of his family, was being threatened by the Taliban. President Stinson hired a Nashville firm, SPI (Security, Protection, Investigation) to retrieve his son, which they did. He had kept his son’s name from the media and most of his staff for fear that someone may want to use him for leverage. That assumption quickly proved true when there was a leak. The son was kidnapped by a Mexican cartel hired by a Russian group. The leverage? The President was to veto an aid package to the Ukraine for a safe return of his son. The story takes the reader through the kidnapping and a dangerous chase through Mexico.
